Primary tasks and responsibilities
As an Information Security Officer in BEC, you have the responsibility for ensuring that the sufficient and effective level of information security is assessed across projects and systems together with the Information Security team in BEC.
The Information Security Officer should be able to understand the different sets of information security requirements, regulatory compliance standards and security threat landscapes, and be able to apply these in the constructive dialogue with projects and product owners. You should have a “Can do attitude” enabling business to excel with the support and advise on Information Security and Cyber Security.
You will be working closely together with both the Information Security team as well as the Risk & Security division, other departments and BEC’s customers.
Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:
Sparring with projects and product owners in BEC regarding information security and cyber security aspects in their systems
Support in the procurement process where security assessments are conducted
Support and lead in maintaining and developing the general Governance, Risk and Compliance area and information security processes
Support and lead in maintaining and developing the Business Continuity Management, Crisis Management and Disaster Recovery Plans
Support in security reporting and documentation development
Supporting the Outsourcing Compliance team regarding cyber security aspects in procurement processes and regarding outsourcing work.

Furthermore, we would like you to have:
A bachelor or a master’s degree or similar education in relevant area
Experience with Information Security and Cyber Security
Experience and/or understanding of IT-infrastructure setup in relation to types of operating systems, cloud security, firewalls, etc.
Fluency in English, written and spoken
Knowledge of relevant security related standards and certifications, e.g. ISO27001+2, NIST, PCI-DSS
Maybe a CISSP or CISM certification or similar
Friendly and constructive communication skills, while being firm regards to compliance and security requirements
With colleagues in teams distributed in Denmark and Poland, you must master English at a high level both in writing and orally.
