SYSTEM MAINTENANCE SERVICES [Qatar]

 

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of all Spectrum Monitoring systems.
• Ensure 100% availability of all Spectrum Monitoring Systems round the clock.
• Ensure preventive maintenance of all monitoring equipment/systems and supporting systems test

equipment and antenna systems are carried out periodically.

• Ensure corrective maintenance is carried out with utmost promptness to ensure availability of the system.
• Ensure supporting devices viz. generators, power supply, air-conditioning and communications lines between NMC and Monitoring Stations are maintained for operational

readiness.

• Carryout System Administrator roles for systems and of all technical assets/ equipment related to Monitoring & QoS section.
• Coordinate with the system suppliers in matters related to maintenance and procurement of spares.
• Coordinate with the system vendors in matters related to maintenance and upkeep of vehicles.
• Ensure operational readiness of fixed and mobile monitoring stations and QOS/ DDS vehicles and systems.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering or science.

Experience:

• Minimum three (3) years of experience performing a full range of System Maintenance activities and administration.
• Relevant work experience in Qatar is beneficial.

Skills:

• Technical affinity in telecommunications and ICT (e.g., fixed, and mobile technology).
• Ability to identify all areas affected by an action.
• Relevant work experience in the GCC countries is beneficial.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Arabic is desirable.
